DIAMANT FAT BIKES FOR Australia and New Zealand

Diamant Fat Bikes are coming to Australia and New Zealand ! Outdoors International is pleased to announce that we have partnered with Diamant Bicycles from Norway who have been making bicycles since 1908 and that we will be the importer and distributor of the Diamant Mammut Fat Bike Range. Fatbikes are great for the beach, desert sand, snow or as an all purpose adventure bike.

The Diamant founder Aksel Gresvig was a racing cyclist and founded the company in 1901. His vision was take sporting activity to the people. This philosphy has been continued by his successors with a focus on light weight products, with high specification componentry for the best possible price. Diamant quietly developed it’s own fat bikes independently of the Alaskan scene (Norway has a lot of snow!) and this has lead to a 3rd generation of products based on designs that are tried and tested. The 2014 bikes are alloy framed, have 4.7 inch wide tires and will offer class leading weight for price.

Two Fat Bikes will be offered downunder the Mammut F4 and the Mammut F3 which based on the sample weights (less peddles) should wiegh in about 14.5kg and 11.5kg respectively. A 24″ mini-Fat Bike will be available by special order.
